An overview of the ‘Festival of Future Nows’, 2017, featuring comments from Olafur Eliasson, Udo Kittelmann, Sven Beckstette, Christina Werner, Natalie Keppler, Klaus Biesenbach, and Rafael Ibarra. The 2017 festival, the festivals’s second iteration, took place during Berlin Art Week 2017 at Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin. Organised by the Nationalgalerie – Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, Studio Olafur Eliasson, and the Institut für Raumexperimente e.V., the four-day festival brought together a mix of emerging practitioners and more renowned artists under the banner ‘The challenge is in the moment, the time is always now.’ The festival was choreographed by Sven Beckstette, Natalie Keppler, and Christina Werner.
